Educate Together is delighted to announce Niall Quinn as newly-appointed Principal of Westport Educate Together National School, opening in August 2019.
Niall holds a Bachelor of Education Degree and a Master’s Degree in Additional Support Needs. His Master’s research focused on the impact of a literacy intervention on children in upper primary classes. He began his teaching career in Finglas on Dublin’s north side in 2003 and has been Principal of Holy Family NS, Dún Laoghaire since January 2017. He will be relocating from Dublin to Westport with his wife, Fiona and two children.
Says Niall
‘I consider myself a highly inclusive individual and teacher and encourage those around him to share my commitment to inclusive practices. I am extremely excited by the challenge of leading a new school in Westport and look forward to building strong relationships with the children, families and wider community.’
