Revised Learn Together curriculum launched & crowdfunding campaign exceeds target!

After extensive consultation, development and piloting, Educate Together member schools voted to formally adopt the organisation’s revised Learn Together Ethical Education curriculum at the organisation’s AGM on Saturday 6th May 2023.

The new Learn Together curriculum is now being taught in all Educate Together national schools.

  • A digital copy of the curriculum is available online here.

This new edition Learn Together is a comprehensive, contemporary Ethical Education curriculum. It will support teachers to ensure all students develop important knowledge, skills and attitudes for a rapidly changing world, equipping them to embrace the challenges and opportunities of the twenty-first century.

Learn Together includes learning about values and ethical perspectives; equality and justice; belief systems and an ethical approach to the environment. The curriculum teaches students about different belief systems as well as atheism, agnosticism and humanism, without promoting any one worldview over another.

Crowdfunding

We are delighted to announce that Educate Together’s crowdfunding campaign to fund the printing of the Learn Together primary Ethical Education curriculum has been enormously successful, as we exceeded our target!

We are blown away by the generosity of our supporters across the equality-based school network. With the help of 52 generous donors from across the school network, we have been able to surpass our Learn Together curriculum fundraising goal and then some.

We are delighted to announce that the new curriculum will be taught in all equality-based national schools and thanks to you, we can make sure it is readily available to our teachers and students across Ireland.

A digital copy of the curriculum can be accessed here.
