We would like to say a huge well done and thank you to the #TeamEducateTogether women who took part on Team Educate Together in the 2023 Vhi Mini Marathon this summer. We appreciate the effort and commitment they undertook and we are so grateful to them for selecting Educate Together as their chosen charity.
We were blown away by the generosity which so many have shown Educate Together and we are delighted to announce that we surpassed our fundraising target.
It was a wonderful opportunity for Educate Together national office staff to get the chance to meet parents, teachers, principals, board members and supporters from across the network, and for us to enjoy the sunshine together!
And the fantastic news is that we raised €2,891 on Given Gain and €350 on GoFundMe by the team at Castaheany ETNS, totalling €3,241 meaning we smashed our target – so thank you to you and all your generous family and friends who supported you, we are so grateful!
The money we raised together will be put to good use in our work to achieve our strategic goals: to support quality and build capacity across our school network, to lead on important system reforms, and to increase access to equality-based education so that this model is available to more children and young people.
