Féilte Bursary Scheme 2025

The announcement of the Féilte Bursary Scheme 2025 once again highlights the innovation and collaborative spirit across the Educate Together network. Several schools were awarded funding for projects that showcase exactly what the network is known for: inclusive practice, creative thinking, innovation, and strong professional collaboration.

Educate Together Awardees

Blackrock ETSS will work with ten schools in the network on an interschool peer observation project designed to gain insights into diverse approaches, build professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Dalkey School Project NS will collaborate with Blackrock Education Support Centre and three schools, including Monkstown ETNS and Dun Laoghaire ETNS, to build a professional learning community focused on Nature-Based Learning through a Community of Practice.

Goatstown ETSS will form a professional learning community on wellbeing with other local schools. The project aims to strengthen positive school relationships and promote kindness by providing Restorative Practice (RP) training to teachers in participating schools.

Stepaside ETSS will collaborate with Dublin City University and four other schools to establish and strengthen a national network of SPHE educators committed to inclusive, culturally responsive, and collaborative approaches to teaching SPHE.

North Wicklow ETSS will work with seven primary and post-primary schools to support teachers in implementing Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles, fostering inclusive, flexible, and student-centred teaching.

Owenabue ETNS, in collaboration with Carrigaline ETNS and Douglas Rochestown ETNS, will strengthen inclusive teaching through a Peer Observation for Inclusion project.

These bursaries recognise the quality of the work already happening in Educate Together schools, but they also signal something bigger: a network that leads with values, embraces innovation, and actively contributes to national conversations about inclusive, forward-thinking education. In short, Féilte 2025 shows that Educate Together schools aren’t just keeping pace with educational change, they’re helping to shape it.
