The Ethical Education calendar is an interactive, ‘all-things Ethical Education calendar’ which includes important internationally marked days, such as International Human Rights Day, International Womens’ Day as well as multi-belief/worldview festival days studied in the Learn Together and Ethical Education curricula. The Ethical Education calendar has become a staple of many classrooms and is often a go-to resource for teachers.
Niall Perrill, 3rd Class teacher in Tuam Educate Together NS and Learn Together Advisor, regularly uses the calendar with his pupils. Rather than trying to cover every event, he adds the dates to his classroom calendar and the children vote on which celebration they would like to learn about. ‘World Toilet Day’ is usually a big hit!
