Growing Interest in Educate Together in North Dublin

Just a few days left for North Dublin parents to make their voices heard!

Your Opportunity for Choice!

Interest in opening an Educate Together national school in Whitehall in North Dublin is growing, according to Educate Together’s Regional Development Officer, Jarlath Munnelly:

Since the Department of Education survey on school types was launched on Monday October 22nd, we have received a number of queries from the Whitehall area.

The Department of Education survey of parents is currently on-line for Arklow, Castlebar, Tramore, Trim and Whitehall. The closing date for this phase is November 9th. For the remanding 39 areas, the survey will be going live at the end of November/beginning of December.

Mr. Munnelly says that Educate Together are encouraging parents to take part in the survey, as this is the first time that parents in these towns have been consulted about school types:

There has been lots of interest from parents in Whitehall to date. This is the first time parents have been asked their views on schools – so its really important that parents inform themselves about the types of schools available, but more importantly, complete the survey. It’s a chance to have your say.”

The Whitehall survey is available on the Department of Education’s website until Friday November 9th.
