Eppie Ní Dhiarmada joined the Educate Together team in November 2025 as an Administrative Assistant after finishing a Master of Science in International Public Policy at Queen’s University Belfast.
She discovered an interest in education and its ability to shift and influence societies throughout this academic experience, engaging in modules that explored the role of education and its development across the island of Ireland. She also focused on education in her dissertation, researching how education can be used to disperse certain narratives in a society around a state’s history and legacy. She focused on this topic for her dissertation, using the German Namibian genocide from 1904 to 1908 and the German education system as a case study.

Furthermore, Eppie is a past pupil of Dublin 7 Educate Together and thus has firsthand experience of the type of education that is delivered by the values and ethos of Educate Together. She believes that all families in Ireland should have the ability to choose the type of education that will suit and develop them best.
Before coming to Educate Together, Eppie completed an internship at Bantham Advisory, a public affairs and policy consultancy firm based in Northern Ireland and the Southwest of England. She has also worked for the Trinity St James’ Cancer Institute, a body that works to ensure that the most up to date research is being implemented in Ireland’s cancer care. This experience fostered a desire to work in an organisation that delivers meaningful change to wider Irish society.
Eppie’s unique blend of academic expertise, rooted in the study of education as a force for societal change, combined with her firsthand experience as a past pupil of an Educate Together school, makes her an invaluable addition to our team. We are delighted to have her on board and look forward to the contributions she will make. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome.
