We are delighted to announce that Trina has joined the Educate Together National Office, bringing with her a wealth of experience from over eight years as a principal within our network.
Trina first served as Principal of Ennis Educate Together NS before taking on the role of founding Principal of Owenabue Educate Together NS in Cork in 2020. Over the past six years, she has skilfully led the school through its establishment, growth and development, shaping it into the thriving community it is today.
Since 2010, Trina has worked in school leadership both in Ireland and internationally. She is particularly passionate about sustainable leadership, inclusion, and finding ways to make the increasingly complex demands of school leadership more manageable for those in the role. Alongside her work as a principal, she has developed and delivered professional learning for school leaders, Boards of Management and aspiring leaders, and regularly creates practical resources and supports to help schools navigate new guidance and requirements with confidence.
Trina holds a Master of Education, a Certificate in Law and Education from King’s Inns, and a Level 6 Diploma in Coaching.
A long-standing and active member of the Educate Together community, Trina holds our ethos and values at the very core of her professional life. Having had the privilege of leading two Educate Together schools and collaborating with colleagues across the network, she is now looking forward to contributing in a different capacity—supporting schools, Boards of Management and volunteers across the country.
