What happens next?

The Department of Education and Skills (DE) will invite applications for the patronage of a brand new primary school. Educate Together will apply for patronage of this school. Following this, the DE will open its dedicated Online Patronage Process System website for parents and carers residing in the designated catchment area of Gurranabraher and Cork City. If you’re a parent or carer of a pre-school child and living in this area, you can vote for your patron of choice. The DE will collate the results and award patronage according to parental preference. It’s that simple!
