Certificate in Ethical and Multi-denominational Education
Educate Together is delighted to be working in partnership with St Patrick's College of Education in providing a postgraduate Certificate in Ethical and Multi-denominational Education.
This is the first time a College of Education has offered a course specifically addressing the professional needs of teachers working, or wishing to work, in the growing multi-denominational sector. It is also the first postgraduate course in the state to address the subject of ethical education, a new and challenging area of education.
This is a one-year, part-time course and successful participants will be awarded a postgraduate Certificate, which is awarded at Level 9 on the National Framework of Qualifications (20 ECTS credits). Credit may be taken towards a master’s degree, subject to certain terms and conditions.
The course is comprised of four modules and fees of €432 per module apply.
The course will adopt both an academic and practical approach, as outlined in the modules below:
The course is blended, involving face-to-face sessions on allocated weekends, as well as online tutorials.
Applications for 2013 / 2014 will be accepted in September 2013.
