Conferences

Educate Together is  a democratic membership based organisation. Schools both afiliated to and directly under the patronage of Educate Together have opportunities to contribute to the development of the Educate Together network through a number of events organised by the National Office annually.

Annual General Meeting

Swords Educate Together NS

Educate Together's 2013 Annual General Meeting was held in Swords Educate Together National School on May 25th.

2012 Ethos Conference

Putting ethos into action

The aim of the conference is to inspire all delegates with new ideas, to help them bring the Educate Together ethos to life in the classroom and the whole school community.

Delegates

The conference is aimed at teachers, school principals, Board of Managements and other interested parties, such as parents. We have purposely kept the registration fee to a minimum and at €25 per head, it offers great value. As an added incentive there is an early bird group booking discount of 4 delegates for the price of 3 (open until Nov 8th). Simply click on the button at the end of the page to make your booking.

Please note that the Dublin leg of the conference is now full. Places are still available in Limerick.

Educate Together's annual Ethos Conference will be held across two locations this year, Dublin (National College of Ireland, IFSC, Dublin 1) and Limerick (University of Limerick). Both venues will be linked by live video conference feeds and delegates can interact with the speaker in the live and remote locations (supported by Cisco Systems). Conference delegates attending the Limerick leg of the conference should go to rooms S114 and S115 in the Schumann Building.

The keynote speaker of this year's conference is award winning journalist, writer and broadcaster Olivia O'Leary. A graduate of UCD, Olivia joined RTE as a current affairs presenter in 1972 featuring in such flagship programmes as Today Tonight, Questions and Answers and Prime Time. She has also worked for the BBC and ITV and is the author of Mary Robinson's authorised biography and 'Politicians and Other Animals'.

Presentations will be based on practical aspects of the Learn Together Curriculum.
