INFORMATION DAY – NEW PRIMARY SCHOOL IN TULLAMORE - 6th January 2004

Tullamore Educate Together Start Up Group are holding an information day in the Bridge Shopping Centre, Tullamore from 12 – 6pm on Saturday 10th.

The group plans to open an Educate Together school in Tullamore in September 2004 and has submitted an application to the Dept. of Education & Science, with Educate Together as Patron.
Educate Together schools are multi-denominational, co-educational, child-centred and democratically run. There are currently 31 schools around the country, with 4 new schools planning to open in September 2004 – Mullingar, Tullamore, Limerick City and Dublin 15.

Any parents who are interested in finding out more about Educate Together schools and/or who would like to participate in this exciting development, are welcome to come along.

In addition to the above information day, the launch of the Pre-enrolment list for the new school will be held on January 17th in the Durrow Room of the Bridge House Hotel. The list will be opened at 10am and children of all ages can be enrolled.

School places are allocated on a 1st come, 1st served basis in Educate Together schools, therefore all children should be pre-enrolled.
