Volunteering Ireland www.volunteeringireland.ie

As an independent, membership based organisation, they work to inspire, promote, support and celebrate voluntary activity in Ireland and abroad.
Volunteering Ireland have a list of very useful fact sheets http://www.volunteeringireland.ie/page.php?id=24, from the Charter for Effective Volunteering to how to build a volunteer policy. You will need to register an e-mail address in order to download the forms directly. An example of a Fact sheet can be found here.
Volunteer Centres of Ireland www.volunteer.ie
We are a representative body, support agency and membership organisation for a growing number of local Volunteer Centres in Ireland, currently 22.
Local Volunteer Centres put people who want to volunteer in touch with community and voluntary or nonprofit organisations seeking volunteers, providing a host of supports to both volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations.
Boardmatch Ireland www.boardmatchireland.ie
Boardmatch Ireland provides a web-based matching service where people can register their interest in volunteering on not-for-profit boards. These candidates are then matched, based on location, skills and preferred area of interest, to not-for-profit organisations who have also registered their board opportunities. Boardmatch Ireland also provides bespoke supports to boards of not-for-profit organisations through its Training and Executive Search services.
