Setting Up a New Educate Together School

There are many areas all around the country, where all national schools are denominational, and therefore obliged to uphold a particular religious ethos. Educate Together would like to work with parents in these areas, to assist in the development of a national school which reflects the Educate Together Charter, and based on the following principles — multi-denominational, child-centred, co-educational and democratically managed.

We are working closely with the Department of Education and Science to identify where new schools are needed into the future. The Department of Education will be providing temporary or permanent accommodation for new schools.
